Season tickets have sold out for the San Francisco 49ers’ first season in Santa Clara’s newly constructed Levi’s Stadium, the team announced today.
The 49ers will still sell a limited number of single-game tickets throughout the season and has added 1,500 standing room-only tickets.
Single-game tickets will be sold exclusively to fans in the Faithful 49 program, which was launched in June “to reward the most ardent 49ers backers,” the team said in a statement.
The first single-game tickets will be sold in an event prior to the first preseason home game against the Denver Broncos on Aug. 17.
Members will be able to improve their chances of buying single-game tickets relative to other Faithful 49 members by gaining “yards” by attending games and events.
Fans with more “yards” will be given better access and notified about opportunities to purchase tickets before each home game, according to the team. People can sign up for Faithful 49 by visiting www.Faithful49.com.
Single-game tickets can also be bought from season ticket holders reselling them on websites like StubHub and NFL Ticket Exchange.
